Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 2000 Honda Civic is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle is drivable. Seller"s Notes Good Luck! Vehicle Details Here is a 2000 Honda Civic Si with 117,667 original miles. Car has a clean title and passed smog when I purchased it at the beginning of this year; it's currently registered until Feb 2022. I purchased the car to replace my all original 85k mile Acura Integra Gsr I sold on here back in December, but unfortunately I was laid off and now it would be a better move for me to just part with it even though I wanted it to be my daily. Nonetheless it's a good opportunity for all of you to get your hands on one with good mileage, not too low so you won't feel bad about driving it and not too high so it won't cost you everything and it will still drive for years and years to come. These cars continue to appreciate, and the market is getting more demanding especially for these; keep the car in good condition and you will be able to sell it for a profit as time goes on, gotta love these cars. Onto the car: The car was originally a Texas car, but spent most its life in California. Absolutely no rust on this car and its completely dry underneath. I purchased this car from the previous owner (3rd); he was a long term owner and had the car for the past 16 years since he bought it in 2004. He was an older gentleman and this car was his baby; he took good car of the car, garage kept most it's ownership and changed oil Mobil 1 synthetic every 3k miles. He did water pump/timing belt maintenance around 80k and outer/inner tie rods were done a few months before I bought the car. He lightly modified the car with a Kenwood stereo, better speakers, viper alarm, and a few other bolt ons, but all stock parts were kept. I bought alot of brand new oem parts onto the car including: OEM shift boot, OEM shift knob, OEM fuel filter (not installed), brand new "si" and "dohc vtec" stickers. All 3 motor mounts brand new OEM installed by mechanic, and brand new OEM exedy clutch kit installed/flywheel resurfaced done two months ago. New o2 sensor on the exhaust, brand new battery just bought, new bulbs for foglights, and new fog light lenses because one was cracked. I have receipts for everything. Interior is mostly flawless aside from the sun roof cover having a 3 small rips and some stains in carpet to be expected. Car includes a momo steering wheel + nrg quick release, as well as the Kenwood touch screen radio and I believe Polk speakers. OEM steering wheel and cruise control included with car. Underbody is flawless: no rust not even surface rust, completely dry. Car rides super smooth no bumps at all; the strut/spring assemblies on all 4 corners were refreshed by previous owner so it's unbelievably smooth, feels brand new, feels like riding on air. Newer drilled rotors. The handling on the car is amazing and the braking is especially incredible, just a tap and you feel it strong. Engine bay is completely dry, only mods left are ITR Intake Manifold, AEM fuel rail, AEM fuel filter, and the aluminum radiator, but all stock parts are included and it should only cost about 300$ to have those last few parts put back on + a coolant flush if you wanna go back completely stock. The exterior of the car is the worst for wear. The car is on its original paint, never been repainted which is a really good thing. There are a few paint chips, many swirls and scratches, and the remains of a pin stripe applied at the dealership when originally sold. The roof, hood, and top of the spoiler are faded from water spots, but thankfully no clear coat peeling on the car at all which is usually the problem out here in Cali. With a really good exterior buff and polish it should come out to be perfect. Body lines line up really well. Car came factory with fog lights, spoiler, and lug locks. Every button, everything on the car works. Only stock part not included is radio. The vin tag that was on the driver side fender was ripped off during previous ownership. The original hood was sold off a long time ago in place of a vis racing carbon fiber hood; the coating on this hood had faded off so I sold it and replaced it with a black hood from another 99-00 civic si. Every other Vin Tag is present on the car. When the previous owner went to do his smog check in 2018, the guy doing the smog read his "113,615" as "173,615" so in the vehicle report it shows up wrong, but I have the smog paper from that time showing the owner wrote "113,615" for proof. Also, when I did my smog in January after buying the car the mileage was "117,325" but for some reason the damn smog guy didn't input that into the system so the mileage wasn't reported. That was annoying, since most of the time you can't confirm the mileage on these, since it's not reported to the dmv, but as you can see by the report for this car it was reported enough time to know it's 100% real. I know this was a long post, but I figure if you're gonna spend the money you'd appreciate it and everything I wrote; I prefer to be 100% honest and give as much information as I can. If any questions please feel free asking and good luck in the auction. Exterior Interior Engine Custom Delivery Instructions I'd really prefer you pick it up in person, but if you want to have it shipped you must arrange it and I will assist as needed.
