Vehicle description
I said clutch in the video, i meant the choke. This car is Automatic.
Classic 1979 Honda Civic 2 door hatchback (No Reserve)
-Relisting seller fell through-
Hondamatic (Automatic) In Great Condition! Serious Car collectors only!
Must have prior biding history!
I"am the 2nd owner of this Honda civic. The car has been garage kept since it came into my hands a few years ago. Before that It was kept in a storage unit for a very long time. This car was rebuilt by the automotive class at Thaddeus Stevens College! The car was completely dissembled and then put back together. The students did a great job!
This car is in Fantastic Shape. When I got a hold of it I had to replace all the hoses due to the car had been siting idle for so many years in storage. You might have to have the breaks checked only because it has been siting and i haven"t been able to pump the breaks on a daily basis. The car starts via choke. Takes about a min to warm up and then you are off.
What I Know :
The car was repainted by the original owner. It was also reupholstered by the original owner. The transmission was also replaced by the original owner. The mileage as I am sure has rolled over.

I have shown this car at car shows in the past and have always received a great response, as well as offers to sell.
I"am selling this car simply because I do not have the room in my garage. I"am currently rebuilding a 1965 Honda CA95
So this was on the list to go in order to make some room.
The engine is solid, but it could use a cleaning if you are to show it with the hood open. (See images) Mechanically the car is in great shape to my knowledge. Again it has been siting for a little this year. I do run it on the occasion . The Radio is not hooked up and working, and the AC really has no real cooling. The heat does work and run. I had the car checked out at the beginning of last year by my local garage. I was told recently that the bushings will need to be replaced at some point in time. Not a hard thing to do in any case .
The under body of the car is basically rust free. Again it was garage kept for its life. The students that rebuilt the car did a solid job on the under body work. Trust me you will approve . There are a few very tiny rust spots here and there but nothing of any worry. Most are not even easily visible. There is a photo I include showing the locations to the best of my ability, like the door trim on the drivers side.
I have been trying to find the back right mirrors silver trim. I never had it even when i bought the car back when. (See image of missing trim)
This car will need little to no work depending on what you want to do with it.
Street ready! Running perfectly. Will need state inspection if you are in PA.
$500.00 Deposit after auction ends (24hours)
Full payment in cash in person. (Must pick up after auction ends, you have 2 weeks to get it) You must pick it up in Bird in Hand PA 17505
I will work with a delivery service if you use one.
Clean PA title will be handed over at the local AAA in town. 101 W James St, Lancaster, PA 17603 (15 mins from the cars stored location)
Please ask away if you have any questions.
