This twin badged Metropolitan is an incredibly rare car. Very few of these cars are still around, and even fewer are ready for the road like this one! This car received a monumental rotisserie restoration a number of years ago. All metal work was done to the highest of standards. No expense was spared, and all of the details were considered. The car comes with multiple large folders of all documents, receipts, photos, etc. The owner of the car is a breast cancer survivor and her late husband had the car restored and painted pink for her. On top of the very high level cosmetic restoration, the car also received a complete mechanical overhaul. With a quick pump of the gas, and a pull of starter knob, it fires right up and absolutely sings! The transmission shifts flawlessly and the brakes are nice and tight. This little Metro is an absolute joy to drive. There truly is too much information to list on this vehicle. Although it"s been a number of years since the restoration, the car still is absolutely rust free and dead straight. The paintwork has held up extremely well with only a few small blemishes here and there. The brightwork is showing some signs of age, most of which can likely be polished out, other areas may require the chrome to be redone.
