Vehicle description
If you"re viewing this auction, you know what it is you"re looking for, and this car"s got it. Up for sale is a 2012 Dodge Charger Pursuit. This vehicle comes equipped with the legendary 5.7-liter Dodge HEMI V-8 engine that delivers 370 horsepower, 390 pound-ft. of torque, and launches you from 0 to 60 MPH in under six seconds while achieving up to 25 miles per gallon on the highway with its fuel saver technology.
This particular Charger came from the North Strabane Township police department and was purchased at auction before being sold to my by a dealership in Roanoke, VA. It has not been fully converted to a civilian vehicle and still features its police wiring, an operational Havis center console with audio & USB in, four 12-volt outlets, and a red/white map light. I upgraded the console with a lockbox, four cupholders, and blanking plates.
The car runs very strong and is extremely fun to drive. I am selling it because I ended up with two of these cars and only need one. The maintenance I have done to this vehicle is as follows:
- Replaced all brake pads, rear calipers, and rear rotors - Replaced the catalytic converter - Replaced the four driving tires (the spare is like new) and upgraded the stock wheels to premium aluminum-clad Dodge Charger Rallye wheels - Restored the center console to fully operational status - Changed the oil and filters - Recharged the air conditioning
I am not a mechanic, so I don"t have a lot of information about the engine. I can tell you that it"s currently not throwing any engine lights and it drives responsively and straight. The cluster shows 9702 engine hours, 5365 of which are idle time.
There are some dings and dents throughout, but overall, the body is in very good condition. There is some label residue on the roof that you"ll need to clean off, and there"s also a small sealed plug in the roof where the light bar used to be. Typical cop car stuff.
The vehicle is available for local pickup by you or your delivery operator. It"s sold as-is with no warranties, express or implied, and no guarantees made as to its mechanical status. If you have any questions for me, please don"t hesitate to ask. Thanks for bidding!
