I am selling this car for anybody who is looking for parts (some of them new) for their own VW Rabbit OR for those who are mechanics/passionate about those models and have an ability to make the car run smoothly . I bought this car from a dealer and spent a decent sum of money to fix all the issues, but got a better budget and bought a better car. MANUAL car and fun to drive/can use the transmission which is working great on another model.
Has New (most with warranty): radiator; Cabin air filter; Alternator; Battery starter; Tensioner pully assembly; Brake rotors and buff pads; Spark plugs; Slave valve; Gasket; Blower motor and belt; Hub caps.
Air conditioning and heating is working, it shifts smoothly, radio works, power steering is smooth, suspension good.
Current issues : Rust in some areas (as visible in photos); Rear calipers not working properly; Rear parking cable is broken; wheel bearings are knocking occasionally (they are due to replace); Rear wiper is missing; all wheels are due to replace; lock for doors need to e replaced (when locked can only get in through the trunk to unlock doors); front bumper shield plastic broken off
Pick-up required (Wilson, NC). I allow drive tests
Willing to negotiate the price- not willing to go under $700. This is a re-list. People kept asking me if it is driveable. It is driveable in the state it is, needs attention if you are planning to use it long term.
