Sadly we need to sell our trusty ride. My wife is having a major surgery, which means she can no longer drive her sporty 5-speed. Our loss could be your gain!
If you know cars, then you know that the Pontiac Vibe is mechanically identical to the Toyota Matrix. The only difference is some exterior trim. So a smart buyer can have Pontiac style with Toyota reliability, all at a Pontiac price! This Vibe has never failed us in any conditions, snow, heat, rain, etc. This car doesn"t leak or burn anything! I don"t have a lift, so I could only fit part way under the car. In the one picture you can see it is dry and clean. The only rust is on unpainted hardware. No warning lights or codes of any kind.
THE GOOD - Great gas mileage EPA 30 city/36 hwy with 5-speed manual transmission Practically unbreakable 1.8 liter Toyota VVT-i engine Comfortable seating with great headroom, it"s tall like a small SUV Surprisingly spacious cargo room 50/50 rear seat folds flat, even the front passenger seat folds flat AM/FM/CD Stereo Dual auxiliary power, standard 12V and 110V AC household current Just cleaned seats and carpet (hence the plastic on the seats in picture)
THE BAD - Some dings and small scratches, basically wear & tear expected from a 10-year old car There is a leak in the AC system, if you add Freon the compressor kicks on and it blows cold, sadly it leaks out in a couple of days :( If you can find the leak you"ll have AC in the summer I just drove it this morning and it sounds like a wheel bearing might need to be replaced soon (Super cheap just found on eBay both sides front hub and bearing for under $40, rear hub $35)
