Vehicle description
You are bidding on a 2005 MINI Cooper S
*Green exterior *Black leather interior *Supercharged *6 Speed Manual *220,000 miles *Power sky view sunroof *Power windows *Power door lock *Xenon headlights *Fog lights *Traction control *Harmon Kardon sound system *Heated seats *Brand new Valeo Clutch *Brand new Valeo flywheel *Brand new clutch cylinders (master and slave) *Brand new Alta 2% crankshaft pulley *New front tires (less than 500 miles) *Brand new battery *Brand new oil cooler o-ring kit *Brand new main seal *Brand new shaft seals *Brand new oil pan gasket
This car is in great shape. It has some blemishes in the paint and a couple dings but no dents. The driver seat on the piece closest to the door is splitting due to wear. It was running perfect with zero problems and I dropped it off at a certified garage to get the clutch and flywheel replaced but after having the vehicle for a couple days they called and said they couldn"t do it. Little to my knowledge at the time they had tried to do it but couldn"t figure it out and my foreign mechanic(who was to busy when I wanted it done initially) noticed they caused a oil leak which caused a rod bearing failure. He tried to fix the problem after installing the new clutch, flywheel and crankshaft pulley but it was to late, the engine failed 100 miles after getting the new components installed. I paid over $1500 for the clutch, flywheel and labor and another $500 for him to install the crankshaft pulley and replace the seals. While he had the engine out of the car he replaced the main seal, the crank seals and the oil pan gasket. He also replaced the oil cooler seals. This is a great car for someone who can rebuild the engine or do an engine swap or even part the car out. It books for a good price with the engine fixed. It also needs the two plastic pieces that go over the drivers side fender and a new chrome headlight washer cap on the passenger headlight as they were stolen while it was at the garage being worked on. All three parts can be purchased for less than $75.00. Email me with any questions you may have. Thanks.
