ENGINE: 5.9L V-12, 60D-DOHC 4 VALVE/CYLINDER, 460HP . Stainless steel exhaust with automatic variable back pressure valve.
TRANSMISSION: TREMEC 6 gear forward Manual Transmission paddle-shifted by wire utilizing Magnetti-Marelli electro-hydraulic gear changer with clutch-pull and factory installed gear position sensor up-grade.
BRAKES: 4 Wheel Anti-lock with Electronic Brake Force Distribution and Traction Control.
TIRES: Michelin Z-, 285 R19/40 Tire pressure monitoring system.
WHEELS: Optional 7 spoke Aston Martin. 3 wheels perfect, 1 wheel has slight/repairable curb scratch, however this car comes with a factory factory new wheel to replace that one. STEERING: Speed Sensitive Power Steering.
EXTERIOR: Color- Black Onyx Metallic-paint as new, zero scratches, dents or dings. Lighting-HID Projector headlights with automatic or manual dim control, Fog lights, Automatic side head-lighting for left and right turns, Additional tail lighting for fog conditions. This Vanquish is build number 1400, the 1400th unit produced out of a total of 1492, and was factory completed on 4/04/2004. By this build date Aston Martin had built in a number of refinements that were incorporated in the remaining 92 built, most notably was the beefed up Gear Position Sensors that send gear and clutch position status to the Magnetti-Marelli hydraulic gear shifter. The upgrade shortened shift times to 30/1000th"s of a second and made the manual transmission shift almost as reliably as an automatic transmission, without the significant horse power loss associated with the automatic transmission. It is for this reason the 2004 Vanquish from build number 1378 forward are in fact faster in every respect than the later Vanquish S which have a true automatic transmission, and 61HP more. This car is painted in factory Black Onyx Metallic. It has no repaint or repair of any part or kind (no touch ups). It has zero dings or scratches including zero light abrasion from improper washing. The paint is orange peel free ultra reflective high gloss. Perfect windshield. As mentioned above, 1 wheel has very light curb damage, but it comes with a factory brand new wheel to replace that one. The interior is in perfect condition with amazingly fresh like new seats, with the only interior flaw being a mark on the floor mat carpet just in front of the gas pedal.
