| “Great condition overall, The Convertible top is a custom job and fits as it should. Convertible top is manual (not electric). It has few very small rock chips that have been painted, one on the hood under front emblem about the size of the circumference of a standard #2 pencil eraser. The speedometer covers the odometer which is easy to get to by removing the face of the cluster cover. I left it this way to get the authentic Ferrari look. She doesn't like bumpy roads but and excellent ride on smooth roads. Needs rear tires (may help with the bumpy roads)normal minor ware on the seats and center console. The base car is a 2003 Toyota MR2 Spyder made to 95% likeness to the 2003 Ferrari 360 Spyder.
If you ever wanted to feel like a celebrity this car will do it! It is fun to drive if you can take the attention. Most of the time when I take her out, people ask two things how fast is it? And can I take a picture of it? It looks and sounds like an original. The exhaust system has been uniquely modified for the sound, (but it is a 4 cylinder). All fluids have been changed, Tranny, Oil, Power Steering, and Hydraulic Power Unit (which controls the automatic clutch). I have only put 25 miles on her since the fluid change.
The butterfly doors are awesome and get a lot of attention, but I don"t use them much (you have the option). The convertible top is new and fits snug, but I never use it. In the photos I did not fasten the top down so it looks loose. Since I have owned the car it has not been driven in the rain (only sunny days) and totally garage kept. The little chrome dots you see on the back of the convertible top are push buttons snaps that lock the top down to the car. It is a manual top which I like because it cant get stuck. The motor cover is authentic with the two air filter boxes (boxes have been modified by 2 inches to fit). cost $2200.00 The dials are authentic (speed and RPM) at a cost of $325.00 Boss Radio/CD added last year (with red) $500.00 Car seat (2) upgrades with horse $600.00 Vinyl chrome kit for dash $200.00 Door jam plates $400.00 Floor mats $300.00
This car cost $ 25.00-$35.00 to fill up at the pump. It gets around 26 mpg city and 33 on the highway. Easy maintenance, its a Toyota!
