For sale, my 2003 Jaguar XJR with 66k original miles. This is the last year of the production of the x309 body style. By 2002, 2003 Jaguar really worked out all the problems of the original x309 car. No nicasil issues, car got the metal tensioners from the factory, updated water pump and thermostat. The XJR has the bulletproof Mercedes transmission not the infamous ZF.
The car is in excellent condition with no dents or dings at all. There are some normal rock chips on the front bumper area. Car never been in any kind of accident and no parts on the car ever been painted. Rims has some very slight damages, but it looks like the small damages are more from installing the tires than from curb rushes. Car runs like a brand new vehicle and it has ZERO problems. It was serviced at the local Jaguar dealer in it"s entire life. No suspension noise, no control lights are on. Engine bay is 100% original and free of ANY leaks. Trunk area looks clean and damage free. The underside of the car is all original with all the original covers are intact.No leaks and no rust at all. The car has zero rattle or vibrations while driving it.
The interior is in pristine condition, the car never been smoked in and had no pets either. The only imperfection I could find inside of the car is the small drivers side window switch trim has 1 crack on it. No cracks on dash board no cracks on dash board trim or anywhere else. The headliner looks very good no sagging at all. Car has all original floor mats in outstanding condition. Car comes with all original 3 sets of keys with all the original (2) key fobs in perfect working order.
Car"s first and 2nd owner was the same gentleman. (leased, than purchased it). He is a retired well respected local doctor, who lives in Costa Rica for the winter time. He always kept the car in his garage at his local (Castle Rock CO) residence while he was away. I"m also not using the car for the winter time at all it parked in my heated garage. The car is obviously registered, but we cancelled the insurance on it and only has storage insurance for the winter time.
I purchased the car about a year ago with the idea to keep it forever as I love x309 xjr"s and I"m sure the car will worth 2-3 times more in 5-15 years from now if it is kept in top condition. (just like it"s famous counter part the BMW M5). As I"m starting my new business I need my whole garage area for work and it will be a few years before I could rent or buy a shop so I have no room to store the car. Also I could use the money for the business. I keep moving the car back and forth in and out of my garage a few times a month (and it will be more and more) and I can see it is not going to work on the long run.
