Vehicle description
2002 Range Rover HSE I had this custom built for me by Nigel"s Car Place out of Arkansas last year to take to SCARR. I had them take nice 2002 Range Rover and add a few items I felt would make this the ultimate off-road machine. I had wanted this car built this way since I was a child, but have too many toys at this point. I had them start with a 4 inch Terrafirma lift from Lucky 8, then we added a snorkel, front and rear detroit lockers, 33 inch Duratracs, front factory guard with a custom built winch holder that mimics the factory one, badlands winch, 2 9 inch LED lights, factory Safety Device rack, sliders, factory rear ladder, custom rear tire holder, and then factory mudder mats.
Following receipt of the vehicle I had new fluids and filters put in, had it serviced at Olivers Auto in Dallas. They fixed one of the door cards and cleaned up some of the installations to cut down road noise. They also worked on the AC so it works great, including seat heaters etc. Had them replace the bulbs in the interior so all lights work. They also installed rear lamp guards and applied a bed lining coating to them. I then installed a CB radio for a Colorado trip I took and had the tint redone.
No tears in Leather. All electronics work except cruise control.
The bad: SRS light comes on every now and then. Has no effect on anything. "fuse 13" is in the message center at start up. I had the issue looked at multiple times and nothing that fuse 13 is associated with is effected other than the message being displayed. The ABS has a slow warm up which can be fixed by a new accumulator on the ABS pump. I have not done the switch out. Paint is not perfect but pretty good. You do not walk up to it and say the paint is bad, but closer look it is not perfect.
I am sure I am missing something, but it is really an amazing vehicle that is not only very capable but very plush and original.
