Vehicle description
Up for sale: The indestructible 7.3 diesel Excursion. Immaculate inside, tan leather.
Exterior is very good with only 2 small rust spots that just started this winter and a few minor dents which are pictured. It gets washed very often, especially during the winter.
Engine needs nothing. New brakes, the brake line was recently replaced, and glowplug control module. The excursion is always plugged in during the winter.
The only minor issues which I just haven"t taken the time to get fixed because I don"t care are the backup sensors and 2 of the door sensors.
Sets of Summer and Winter tires all have another season of life left.
These are very hard to find anymore and will run forever. You can"t beat the towing capacity and seating.
The Excursion lived half of its life in Texas as a corporate vehicle.
Then it moved to New York but it"s owner was deployed to Afganistan so it sat in his garage for 2 years.
When I bought it in 2008 it had never been driven in winter so it was 100% rust free.
I"m a mom so I drive it back and forth to the grocery store and soccer practices.
All service has been done by a diesel mechanic.
