Vehicle description
2002 Chrysler Town and Country VMI Wheelchair Conversion van. 203823 miles. Still runs strong. Drives great. Normal wear and tear. Interior carpet needs a good scrub down. . . whoever thought putting carpet on the floor of a wheelchair van has a screw loose. Power sliding doors work. Power ramp does not come out under power. Switch got broke off. . . I have been manually pulling it out. No biggie, it’s very easy. Headliner is sagging. These Mopar vans of from back then have a problem with that. But when you drive it it goes back up mostly. A couple of thumb tacks can control that. Has fairly new tires, than than a couple thousand miles on them. Brakes were done recently. The drivers seat is not original. The original is cloth, I prefer leather. So I put in a leather power drivers seat. I still have the original seat and an extra leather passenger seat if ya want them,ya can have em. The van does have the 10 inch drop floor with wheelchair securement ratchet style straps installed. Very easy to use. Full size spare and emergency donut in cargo area. 2 center caps missing. . .EBay has them. Dark tinted windows. Ac and heat work great. All in all, for it’s age and mileage, a good solid ol van.just bad carpet and headliner sagging. I just used it for 2 weeks transporting wheelchair bound patients to Doctor appointments from Texas to Oklahoma. No problems. I can deliver for a reasonable fee. Thanks for looking.
