About this vehicle This 1968 Chrysler Newport 7.2 is an original. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes Just a super cool Mopar. Everywhere I go, I get many thumbs up from all age groups. Vehicle Details I’m selling this cool rag top. It’s very rare. Only one of 14 ever made with the HP package: HP 375 horse 440. HD 727 tranny. 3:23 rear end. HD rear springs, torsion bars, rims, brakes, radiator. Has all the goodies. Drum brakes are new. Came with factory front discs which I have the calipers, rotors, and spindles Has new, complete tune up, oil and filter, radiator flush and fill with new hoses. Because the car sat for years in a Montana barn, there is some gum up on a few of the rings, resulting in a bit of smoke upon acceleration. I’m treating with Lucas ring cleaner and it is improving. Just needs to be driven for complete cleaning. I installed a new gas tank with sending unit; new rear shocks. No rust except for the small spot in the pics. Needs a new top too but the boot is in good useable condition. The car will need restoration but all in all, in its unrestored state, has pretty cool original petina. The interior is in presentable condition. As far as I can see, it is a numbers matching car. Ready for some summer fun and a great, next winter project ? This is your car; a very cool ride and super powerfully quick. It’s unreal, actually. Oh. Tires are new as well. Mopar fans or new to the hobby, go for it. Place your bid.
