Vehicle description
Hi all, up for auction is a 2001 Mazda Millenia, I am the original owner who bought the car new. Currently, the car is in very good condition, especially for a 16year old vehicle. The car has 100K miles on the car and about 80K miles on the engine. The car received a new engine from Japan (which is an upgrade from the original) around 20K miles under warrantee. The reason for the new engine was due to the negligence of a “reputable” quick lube place that did something VERY wrong that ruined the engines compression. The Mazda service manager with 30 years experience stated this is only the second time in his career he had seen this. Thankfully though I received a new even better engine! That being said, the car does have a few parking lot bruises as shown in the pictures but are all easy fixes. I always kept the car clean with special waxes and clay bar cleaning to keep it shine. It is obviously not perfect but still looks better than many newer cars. The car comes with brand new high performance rims and Hankook / Dunlop tires that cost over $1,200. The performance wing cost $300 and the performance brake rotors another $400. The interior is in excellent condition for the year. The leather is mint except for the driver’s seat that still looks in great shape. The back of the passenger seat has a tear but a replacement piece on Ebay goes for about $50. The only other item that needs changing is the sunroof switch that goes for about $30. The car does have 2 Auto meter gauges, oil and air/fuel installed but not wired yet that cost about $200. I also added, stainless steel door sills that cost $300 and Sparco pedal set that cost another $180. Mechanically it is a sound car. I have changed the oil with Mobil 1 synthetic every year and run performance NGK spark plugs and a K&N short intake. There are brand new NGK plug wires, brand new distributor cap and rotor, as well as an ignition coil. The 2.5L engine runs smooth. The car always ran on 93 Octane with additives to keep the engine clean. The brake pads and performance rotors have about 20K miles on them. The only item I know of that needs changing immediately are the oxygen sensors. This may trip the engine light. This car particularly has 4 and they run about $30ish each depending what brand. The car’s battery is a Bosch that would need replacing but it is under warrantee so the exchange is free. The car does not come with a spare tire since it was so old it was nonfunctional. The only reason I am selling is because I inherited another car several years ago and realized I never used this one any more so no sense of keeping it. The car is being sold as is with no warrantee.
