About this vehicle This 2001 Ford Excursion is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 5 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes please feel free to send questions Exterior Too much to list, but I will give an overview the best I can. will be available by phone at any time. this truck spent the majority of its life in Arizona, it is 100% rust free. since I have owned it it has always been garaged. in the last year it has had a heavy duty transmission built by Jasper, with a billet converter. it has maybe 500 miles on it and still has two years left on warranty. tires are Cooper SST pros with less than 1000 miles on them. new brakes and NEW rotors, New AC compressor, new alternator and batteries within the last two. new radiator. the mileage is actually correct for the truck, but the engine has nearly exactly 100k less miles, give or take 5k. I had a wrist pin break on the orig engine and purchased this engine from Lumberts salvage in winfield Kansas. it has an ATS 3000 series turbo with ATS injectors and ATS TUNE, it runs very GOOD! hubs were also replaced with both wheel bearings around November of last year. rear end was completely rebuilt by Pro Diesel in Augusta Kansas, that’s who swapped the engine, Cory is the only diesel mechanic I let work on my diesels, I have a full maintenance history I will email. Interior interior is very clean for its age. seats are out of, I believe an 08, they are heated. head unit was replaced about 2years ago. the stereo and alarm was installed by my friend that used to design for JL Audio, fronts are high end JL components and the backs are 3 way 4x5 JL’s. the two amplifiers are both JL. one a 1000/1 that drives a JL 12w7 in ported box, the other is a 450/4 that runs the components and back speakers, it’s stupid loud. alarm is a compustar with remote start, has delay for glow plugs. Engine U joints were also replaced within the last two years, also has AFE cold air intake. paint is Matte black. it was a trade off for a jet ski to my brother in law. it is not the best, but it looks good, it is not perfect, there are several flaws in it, but it’s stuck good. also has a BDS 4” suspension lift. this truck has only has Synthetic Rotella run in it.
