Vehicle description
If your looking for a quick and reliable black MR2 Spyder, this is the one to buy!
You probably know the common Spyder issues: The car is fun but slow, bad cats, faded paint, AC problems etc.
My goal was to keep this car for a while so I upgraded everything. The car has new paint, an entirely new AC unit, new high flow headers and cats, high flow air filter and a new engine. I spend over $6k getting the car where I wanted it to be. It runs amazing. My Lexus ISF (V8) isn’t even as much fun to drive as the Spyder!
The body has 166k on it, but it has a new oem engine with 35k on it. The top does not leak although the metal framing sticks out a little on the sides. Car has upgraded leather seats, a really nice Bluetooth stereo, a carbon fiber shifter and the tranny shifts nice and smooth. The AC also blows really cold and strong. Also has upgraded lights and I have about $200 worth of MR-S decals I’ll throw in as well.
This car as presently equipped will last you another 10+ years easily as long as you do oil changes and basic maintenance on it.
I only am selling the Spyder because we are starting a church and as I am finding, it requires way more money than I expected. I will buy another Spyder one day though:) This one has a clean title and is ready for someone to enjoy. Hard to beat driving around with the top down!
