Vehicle description
MUST SELL! No reasonable offer refused. Asking price $650. Color: green. Milage 191,648. Auto trans.
The good: Single family owned, always maintained. Nearly new, high quality tires - General Altimax RT.
The rather notorious automatic transmission works perfectly. When my nephew owned it, he had work done on it. I suspect that the failure - prone parts were replaced.
The engine runs like top. While I have had it, I regularly used Restore brand oil treatment and MMO to keep the valves well lubed.
Body is straight and true. Never in an accident bad enough to teak it.
Comes with full sized spare with good tread and no dryrot on matching alloy wheel.
The bad: leaks. I stopped driving it after the upper radiator hose blew.
Then when I went to move it, the brake line blew in the rear. I had replaced the "impossible to get to" lines that run under the subframe a couple years ago. The leak is from the line which is much easier to get to, just in front of the one I replaced.
The transmission lines have rusted through, causing a massive transmission leak.
There is minor rust and the clearcoat is failing.
Given that, do not expect to drive the car away. it must be towed.
I have too many cars. Please make this nice car with tremendous potential go away. I would kill me to junk it but will if I have to. Car is for sale on other sites so I reserve the right to end the auction without notice.
