Vehicle Details 1998 Chevrolet 3500 crew cab long bed two wheel drive dually. Has been my daily driver,yes, I hate to sell this truck but it is time. I have two other trucks I must finish working on. This truck has seen a lot of freeway with me and she has pulled well. The transmission in this truck is very strong. Old style hand crank windows and only one key door lock which is on driver door only. Truck has a two inch body lift which I would have never done but the previous owner wanted it to look like a 4x4, I don’t get it. I had the front windshield replaced because the old one had a crack. Tires are new. Interior is in good shape. This truck just passed California smog emissions test. Heavy duty tow package. Please know that this is a good truck but she needs a little love. Tailgate secures but needs adjustment to open with handle. I have always used a tool to push in the release at the latch, does stay closed. Driver window has to be lowered to open door, again, another easy adjustment I am just used to it. 7.4 motor puffs a little white smoke when starting but clears up right away. I do have to add a small amount of oil once in a while, again I am just used to it. I still drive it wherever I need to go. This truck needs someone to get her where she deserves to be and trucks like her are getting impossible to find for a reasonable price. So many people think they have a Barrett Jackson truck and ask crazy prices because a truck is over 20 years old. I am a bit more realistic. I have 4 other trucks that are older than this one. This truck can be used as is or go custom crazy with air bags or whatever you want, just don’t break my heart and send me finished photos. I miss her already.
