Up For Auction Is A 1997 GMC Suburban W/ 3rd Row! 350 v8 engine
Starts, Drives, But Needs Some Work! This vehicle does start and drive but the check engine light is on. Im not entirely sure whats wrong with it but heres the story. I was driving this vehicle across town it died on me and i rolled it to a gas station. I couldnt get it to start, so i towed it home. About 3 weeks later I was moving into my new place, I figured id have to tow the vehicle so I went out to it, put key in the ignition, it started right up. I drove it to the new place and had no issues at all. My guess, maybe it overheated? Im not sure. After that it sat for about 6 months. Recently, I charged up the battery and it started right up. With that said I would not drive this vehicle far as there is obviously an issue with it. The engine sounds strong, the transmission is going strong. Its a beast and roomy with 3rd row seating! And it has the big v8 350 in it. Fantastic engine! There was new parts put into this car and that was all suspension work. It needs tires (has oversized tires on it but the tread is depleted). Needs a little tlc as you can see the interior has some rips, the front hood has a ding (the hood still latches, I personally just latch it at the moment but i dont full close it because its a nightmare to get it to pop). The negative connected to the battery terminal comes loose at times (It seems tight now but it was a issue i had for a little while.) Im trying to be as honest as I can with this vehicle, if you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will try to answer them as best I can, but I am not a mechanic.
