Vehicle description
Up for auction is a BEAUTIFUL 1995 Land Rover Range Rover Classic SWB. It has a clean NC title and an accident-free Carfax history. It has spent its entire life in California until just a few months ago when I shipped it to NC. It is 100% rust free . I JUST found out I will be relocating soon for work and hate to sell it, but just won’t be able to enjoy it like I had hoped. I have a stack of receipts from the previous owner detailing the MANY repairs and refurbishments he took care of. Since I’ve taken ownership I have had it thoroughly diagnosed and inspected by a local European Motor Dealership that specializes in vintage Land Rovers. The mechanic stated this is one of the cleanest RRC"s he"s ever seen. They replaced the ABS pump and the idle stepper motor as well as the throttle position sensor. They give it a clean bill of health and said they’d trust it to go wherever I want!
Highlights of the RRC: (this information was given to me from the previous owner who had a close family friend as a Land Rover mechanic):
Rebuilt 3.9L New main and rod bearings All new seals and gaskets Crower 50229 cam New lifters and push rods Edelbrock double roller chain Cam machined for end plate Cylinder head cleaned and inspected New spark plug wires, cap and rotor New radiator and all oil lines and hoses New stock cat back exhaust New head liner Meridian rebuilt steering box Transmission flushed and new filter installed 3" lift with Bearmach springs Rare soft dash Newer paint (April 2016) New custom floor mats Newly refurbished interior wood trim (paid over 2K for this alone and still have the receipt) Newer tires New tint
Issues to make note of:
-The right rear window does not work. -The back window windshield wiper does not work -I have the driver"s door speaker cover. It has a crack in it and just wont clip on. These covers are EXTREMELY difficult to find. -The lights that are on in the instrument cluster and reasons are as follows:
-ABS and BRAKE lights: The LR mechanic that just replaced the ABS break pump said the brake system is 100% functional and all codes that prompted the ABS light to come on initially have been addressed. The code was reset, but the lights for the brakes won"t turn off. He literally told me that "sometimes these RRC"s have some demons in the computers" and not to worry about the brake lights being on.
-Transfer Case "TC" light: This is on and will remain on because the truck has a newer TC (P38) in it and the number of sensors on it are different than the old one which prompts the light to stay on.
Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions and if you would like to see more pictures I have plenty more. I am not a Land Rover mechanic, but have tried, to the best of my ability, to be as descriptive and as transparent as possible about the condition of this vehicle. It"s a head turner, in GREAT shape and will be a great truck. Please note that I do have a loan on the vehicle so once the vehicle is sold and funds have been transferred it may take a few days to get the loan paid off and request a release of the title once the lien has been satisfied. I will do everything I can do expedite this process. It shouldn"t take longer than the amount of time necessary to ship the vehicle to you. Please make sure you have secured financing prior to bidding if that"s how you will be securing the purchase. MANY financial institutions will not loan money for classic vehicles. Shipping is 100% the responsibility of the buyer, but I will do what we need to do to help arrange the pick up.
