Vehicle description
Selling an extremely clean, very low mileage, perfect interior 1995 Jaguar XJ6 with on 76,347 miles. $3000 or best offer.
I have just too many project cars and need to part with the Jag to help fund a BMW project. The interior of the car is like new. Non smoker no animals, etc. . Not a single tear or even wear on the seats. You are still met with that new leather smell every time you open the door. The car"s previous owner stored the car during the Winter and the body is in great condition for the year and being from New England.
EVERYTHING on the car works perfectly, EVERYTHING.
1 Regular Key and 1 Valet key included.
All original owner"s manuals
Clear, clean title in hand.
I have lots of receipts for prior work as well as work I have done to the car to include:
- 4 like new Goodyear Assurance tires
- New correct Champion plugs
- 6 new coil on plug coils
- New Fuel injectors
- New Bosch fuel pressure regulator
- All new accessory belts
- All new hoses
- New catalytic converters
- 4 new O2 sensors
Compression Test:
#1 125
#2 125
#3 125
#4 125
#5 125
#6 125
So what are the negatives as there will be some on any 22 year old car.
- The clear coat it peeling off the trunk. A very common thing I have found on these cars.
- There is a small spot of rust on the driver"s side rear wheel well. This is the only rust on the car.
- The rear of the headliner is sagging. Again, a common thing on these cars as the glue dries out.
And the biggest issue is a skip in the motor. I have had the car professionally diagnosed and according to the Jag specialist and Jag factory technician the issue isn"t electrical and they feel it is fuel related. This bill alone was $776.00 and that is why I have replaced most of the fuel system minus getting into the tank and fuel pump. The skip is still present and I just don"t have the time to look into it further.
This will make a great car for someone who appreciates these wonderful cars. I just need to concentrate on my all-wheel drive BMW project before Winter arrives.
