::::::::::::::::::VIDEO COMING SOON:::::::::::::::::::
1990 Land Rover - - Range Rover Classic : Up for sale is my RRC. . . As you know,,,,, these are increasing rapidly in value as the vintage Broncos and others now command $50,000 to $60,000 plus . . . So if your looking for a safe investment to store your devaluating cash in times of increasing inflation,,,, THIS is a fun and solid way to do it. . and CERTAINLY with higher returns. . Especially with one set up right,,, with LOW MILES and in this good of condition. . SEE VIDEO ! ! ! *This Rover has the 3.9L V8 with ONLY 93,000 miles. . (actually right now 92-something,,, but I still plan on driving it a bit while its listed) No warning lights / service engine lights / or any known problems. She"s a solid vehicle with low miles. * It has a used replacement transmission that has a couple hundred miles testing on it since installed by a Land Rover mechanic and shifts strong with zero problems. . ( the previous transmission was installed wrong by a frequent Land Rover dealer ( thanks AP-Motors in NC) and went out less than 30 days after I received the vehicle. . BUT,, the new one is installed and its ready to run. .
* The exterior is Westminster Grey - - Paint in overall good condition for a 30 year old. The bonnet (hood) has the most wear being above the engine and could use a freshen-up spray as the color is thinner here. New heat shield has since been added. .There is a 3 inch bit of paint bubbling just below back window ( see photo ). . The rest looks great as you can see in the video. . It does have a bit of rust in the usual Land Rover spots (ex: door pillars (see photo) but nothing too bad and less than most I"ve seen.
* The interior has newly upholstery seats and are in fantastic condition. . Power window. . . Power seats. . The rear carpet mats are good but I would replace the front carpet piece. The headliner is tight and does not sag or have staining. . The sunroof works and does not leak.(see photo). . The center consoles cargo box needs replacing I think. (or just rebuilt)
IT HAS: *Towing Package * Factory wheels
* RARE factory brush guard with 2 Hella Lights
* Roof rack * * * * * * * * *In the last 2 years this RRC has had the following done so that YOU don"t have to worry about it. * * * * * * * *
* Complete new ignition system,,, Distributor wires,,Plugs,,and Coil
* Transmission swap ( runs and shifts strong)
* Engine service. All filters air & oil
* New suspension- - -coils & shocks
* New Tires -
* New muffler system * New fuel pump
* New alternator
* THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN WELL MAINTAINED
WHAT I THINK IT NEEDS:
* Gas gauge is not active- -Reads on E at all times * E-brake is not hooked up. I think it just needs a pin to the handle. * A/C hose replaced. (A/C unit WORKS- just needs hose to transport cold air to vents) * Front carpet cover replaced. (Rears are newer) * Wood on dash refinished * New center console or rework existing.
Whether its Cars & Coffee or just filling up at the gas station,,, people always want to comment on it and take a look at her or give you a thumbs up while driving. . .
NO LOW BALL OFFERS please- - I"m not needing to sell it. . This is an appreciating asset. . The longer I hold it, the more valuable it is. . The longer you wait to get one,,,, the more you"ll pay. . I remember you could get the old broncos and FJ"s a few years ago for 5 & 7 thousand all day long- - - - NOW THEIR 50+ This Classic is not a museum piece but its been well maintained and is not only a gorgeous and fun truck,,,, Its also an investment that will not only increase in value,,,, it"ll increase in value AS YOUR OUT ENJOYING IT. . So GET IT (thank yourself) and ENJOY it !
