Vehicle description
Up For Sale Today is my Family"s 1987 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Sedan
The car is in good condition, it has 71,841 original miles.
The car has had 2 owners, with my family being the 2nd owner of the car. The original owner brought the car new in 1987, brought it fully loaded with a leather interior and digital clock, radio and with cruise control. However the original owner only enjoyed the car for 2 years before passing away in 1989; the car sat for about 19 years until my family got the car from the original owner in 2008. We got the car with about 22,000 original miles. However given the time that the car sat in a garage, there were some problems that arouse.
Items that were replaced due to the time it was put up were as followed: New Belts New Tires New Brakes New Fuel Pump Rebuilt Transmission
We do have a complete service history and documentation that shows everything down to oil changes.
The interior for being 29 year old is in great shape, however the leather is cracking on the front drivers and passenger"s seats please use the pictures as well as the video for more information.
The car has also spent all 29 years in Illinois so there is some rust spots on the car, that I have shown in the pictures as well as the video. There are 8 small spots on the body of the car that I am aware of.
The tires on the car are pretty worn and would be advisable to replace them especially before winter.
Please look over all the pictures as well as the video that I painstaking tried to show everything I can of the car.
We are deciding to sell the car, because it is no longer needed in our family.
Feel free to reach out either through texts or giving me a call.
I am having trouble posting the video I made but the title of it is: " 1987 Mercury Grand Marquis LS For Sale" by Adam Pische Just search that in YouTube and it is the first video or enter this youtube.com/watch?v=ESN_OFKaHoI
