1980 Mercury Grand Marquis. 5.8L V8, Auto, Fully loaded. One family owned since new. All options function properly and has been maintained by Ford dealer exclusively until recently. Cold A/C, hot heat, new brakes all around, just replaced original tires. Never seen snow, winters and rarely rain. Still sporting original wipers. Spotless interior showing no wear. Factory carpet floor mats have always had rubber mats on top. 8-track and beautifully. Exterior is all original with only a few very minor chips. Vinyl roof is perfect as is the stiching. Front painted portion of the roof has been "blown in" years ago due to a chain dangling on a transport that put about a dozen or so chips on the roof. The transport Co. had it repaired before delivering it back to us after a movie. It was adequate but that is all. I would repaint that part of the roof at Ford and the header trim around the passenger front marker light where there is a chip and a wear through on the corner from the car cover to make it 100% pristine. The trunk carpet is spotless and sparkles like the rest of the interior. It has the fake "dognut" spare. There is a new headliner that was replaced last year. The car still has the Ford cardboard sleeve on the driver"s visor with cold weather start instructions and seat belt use. Recently spent $1780.00 in complete service. Can be driven anywhere. This was the feature vehicle in the Ford Brochure for 1980. The car was bought new at Pringle Ford in Belleville Ont in November 1979 and has been loved and babied since. It has Ziebart rustproofing, Scotch-gaurd, and perma-shine added. Shows, trophies, awards, plaques, movies and photo shoots has been the cars life for years. Will help with shipping arrangements.
