This classic restored "86 CJ7 has had everything done to it to improve it from stock with an interest in keeping the original look and feel. It was the last year of the CJ"s. Some of the improvements are as follows; It has a professionally installed Howell brand fuel injection system ($3000 alone). The old carbs were problematic, in that they all stalled, sputtered, hesitated, and were hard to start. Besides that, they chowed gas and are terrible polluters. The fuel injection burns clean which seems like it doubled the gas mileage too. Clifford brand headers and intake manifold were recently professionally added along with a D.U.I. brand high energy performance distributor. All these added systems come with receipts in addition to a professionally overhauled engine only about 3500 miles ago and a completely new exhaust system was built to fit. The trans has been gone thru recently too. New driveshafts (not just u-joints) were recently installed. A mild 2 1/2 lift was recently installed. New brakes, aluminum radiator, rims and tires were purchased as well as being fitted with a complete new interior. This Jeep is something to be proud of, and is a joy to drive. She has lived her entire life in the dry climate of Phoenix until just a few years ago when she was adopted by a family in Carlsbad Ca. She has zero rust.
