Vehicle description
This car has been in my family for over 35 years, and has been taken well care of for most of its life. I"m somewhat sadly parting with it now as we no longer have covered parking for it. It was recently broken into while parked on the street and I don"t want that to keep happening. The truck is doing well mechanically (as these models are known for) but it needs a bit of cosmetic work on both the interior and exterior. Most of the damage listed below is from the recent break-in and is mostly cosmetic. I"ve repaired the major damage, but there are still some cracked panels, cuts and scrapes. The whole thing could also do from some drying out over the summer as well - I wiped it down and have a dehumidifier in the cab, but it needs to stop raining before it can really be cleaned well. Highlights - New battery - New ignition - New spark plugs - No existing (known) leaks - No accidents - Clean title Known Issues - Several cracked panels - Passenger door and fuel cover need to be rekeyed - Window regulators not fully engaging - Some mold/must smell inside following break-in (currently wiped down + managing with a dehumidifier) - Various exterior scrapes - Missing trailer hitch - Slightly bent rear fender I"ve not driven it much recently as I"ve been working from home for the past year. . these things like to be driven, so keep in mind you may discover a few more things after purchasing simply due to it sitting for a while. I"d probably give it a quick tune-up and fluids change, then run it through a tank or two of gas. Historically this has been an easy and cheap car to maintain, and I expect there’s still a lot of life left in it. If I had a garage I"d be keeping this and fixing it back up myself. Really loved this truck!
