Status: Running well but extremely poor braking. Can be test driven, but will need to be towed away.
Too many projects force me to let this one go. This jeep is a blank canvas. A few easy repairs and this beast is back on/off the road. This is a fun project, that is easy to work on, and upgrade. This jeep has been sitting for years. Last year I started working on it again. It fired right up with fresh fluids and a new battery. I had the axle pressed out and fully rebuilt by Hoopers. I also had brake lines checked, new pads, and the wheel bearings packed at Midas. A rebuilt master cylinder, new tires, and a smog check put this back on the road. The ride has a little hitch to because of flat spots in the tires. The frame is straight and has never been in a moving accident. The driver side rear quarter panel damage resulted from a car striking it while it was parked in front. All the rust is surface and the chassis is in great condition except for the few blemishes pictured. When last smogged it passed with flying colors and I have no reason to believe that it wouldn"t again. I love this car and hate to let it go, but whatever. Enjoy it.
