Vehicle description
2006 Factory Five Racing GTM. Factory Five serial number F5R1000088MS.
This car is unregistered so there is no VIN, the Factory Five serial number is entered in the VIN field. This car has been built to be a track day car. LS1 motor from a 1999 Corvette VIN 1G1YY22G0X5101143. G50/20 6-speed transaxle from a 1995,1996,or 1997 Porsche 911 VIN WP0AA2997SS322558 or WP0AA2995TS322558 or WP0AA2991VS322558. I have pulled the CarFax reports on the cars they are out of , they have a clean history and have about 60K miles on them(the S/N stamped on the engine is 1X5101143 and the S/N stamped on the transaxle is G5020 2 002558). The donor car parts are 1999 Corvette. New high performance slotted/drilled rotors and brake pads - Calipers. New Forgestar F14 18"x 9" front wheels and 18"x 12" rear wheels . New B.F.Goodrich g-Force Rival 245/40ZR18 front tires and 335/30ZR18 rear tires. It does have adjustable seat track on drivers seat, and Catalytic Convertor Pipe Heat Shield Kit. Includes Vraptor parts: Hood Louvers(not installed), Side Scoop Louvers(not installed), Front Grille(not installed), Seat Mounting Brackets, Heater Control Valve Mounting Bracket, AC “Blower Relocate”Plenum, Cam Bolt Washers(not installed), Stereo Close-out Panel.
If you bought a new Factory Five GTM kit, it would cost you $25000, then a donor parts kit would cost you from about $5000 to $10000, an engine and transaxle would cost you around $5000 to $15000, new wheels and tires would be about $3000, the A/C unit about $2000, and then you would still have to build the car from scratch.
Car is mostly complete, but has the following things still need to be taken care of: Car is not painted. A/C compressor leaks like a sieve. Driver side mirror glass is all cracked. Shift linkage needs to be adjusted, so it will go into reverse. Clutch pedal turnbuckle needs to threaded all the way on(it’s only on about one thread, the way the previous owner installed it). Backup light switch on transaxle needs to be replaced. Brakelight switch needs to be remounted. A/C control knobs stopped functioning(maybe a bad fuse or something). Body work has not been done(cutting out hood for radiator venting, cutting hole for side scoops, making seams uniform, etc.). Needs wheel alignment(alignment bolts are not tightened). Missing one hood gas strut and one rear hatch gas strut. Speedometer and Tachometer not registering. No upholstery or carpet installed(but what came with kit is included). No receipts for engine or transaxle. The previous owner did not give them to me. I have pulled the CarFax reports on the cars they are out of , they have a clean history and both have about 60K miles on them. Windshield and back window will be duct taped in place for transport as they have not been installed. Flat bottom aluminum panels not installed, but included. Interior door panels and door handles not installed, but included. No window weatherstripping(it was not included with Gen 1 GTM kit). Passenger door handle to door latch link rod needs to be re-bent so the window doesn"t get stuck against it when raising or lowering the window. Headlight covers are temporarily mounted for transport.
