1979 Jeep CJ7 with Small Block Chevy and Automatic Transmission! 4wd! Jeep fires up and runs amazing, I just had my mechanic go through everything, when he was changing the plugs he scoped the cylinders with a borescope. He could still see the cross hatching on the cylinder walls! Pretty sure its a very very low mileage engine! The jeep needs some love, but not on the mechanical side! I believe this jeep was restored in the late 90"s in Oklahoma and the bodywork was done with a skim coat of body plastic, which is now cracking. . It does have rust in one fender, which I have a clean replacement for! My plan was to sandblast the body and repaint everything to match, including the doors. If the jeep doesn"t sell, I may still do it! The jeep has replacement seats from something else, but new seats are easily obtainable! Its a project, but a running and driving project! Tires are good, hard top and hard doors fit really nicely. Overall, its a great start!
