1978 Dodge Aspen Wagon. Original Georgia car. I bought it from a shady to say the least commercial seller on eBay. It was sold to me as running and driving car that could be restored as you used it. Yea right. I drove it 40 miles from the shipper. Started to rain. No wipers, no fan and at the same time the tie wired throttle linkage came apart. Had it towed. Good thing tho. Back in the shop checking the steering components I rapped the idler arm with a hammer and it actually fell off. So. . .
This is Super 6 car with ac. The ac hasn"t been checked. It has had a complete tune up cap rotor wires and plugs. New fuel pump and filter and battery. Body is solid with some scratches and dings and a dent in the passenger door as shown. Original paint so it all shows. New heater hoses that replaced the originals Total carb rebuild. It has the 2 bbl. New choke pull offs Motor is smooth and even. Oh and there is a new idler arm on it. The rest of the front end looked good. I haven"t driven it much but the tranny shifted good and the brakes felt ok. Also those heroes for some reason changed the right front brake line and ran it over top of the motor. . I installed a stainless braided line in the proper location. The tires are older mounted on wide rims. Also included is a set of old bean hole mags. No damage on them but need polished. No lugs or centers. I bought them new in 1967. Inside NOTHING worked. That"s all been repaired. Wiper linkage rebuilt, new fan motor, replaced gauge cluster. Everything works. And an aftermarket radio. I have 2 non working originals. Dash speaker replaced. None of the windows would move without a fight so I lubed and adjusted. Better now. The car is rust free except some at the cowl. Typical Mopar. I repaired that. Car has never been hit.
Comes with factory shop and owners manual. There is a build sheet but it"s not all there. As you can see I put the time into it to keep it. Well I have finally found my Nova wagon and need to make room. As always shipping is by the buyer. Thanks for looking.
