Vehicle description
For sale is a 1976 Volkswagen Bus Riviera camper. The bus is in good mechanical condition with very little rust. The engine runs very well and I would not hesitate to take this bus anywhere. It has been converted to a carburetor but it could be converted back to fuel injection.
If the sale goes smoothly I have a significant number of parts that will be included for converting it back to fuel injection if the buyer wishes. The tent is in fair condition with holes in the ventilation screens, the rest of the top in good condition and usable. The slider door rear hinge has some wear and needs a little assistance but it"s all there and works. The undercarriage is virtually spotless with no rust. Some of the body panels do have dents and minor surface rust, a previous owner pulled the rain gutters out, they can be dollied back in place by somebody good at that. There is some rust around the battery tray which has been replaced but the rear fender in that area could use replacing. There are multiple shades of yellow orange and dents on this bus. I would consider the bus in decent shape and very restorable for the age.
The buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. Payments will be via cash or international wire transfer with a $500 deposit via PayPal after winning the vehicle.
