This auction is for my 76 CJ 5 Renegade which I regrettably have to sell to make room for my new cruiser. These Cj"s are getting harder and harder to find and in my opinion are the toughest of all the Jeeps ever produced. I originally bought this Jeep in 2010, this was my divorce present to myself from Lewis Page dealer in Georgia. Then I made arrangements to ship it to Massachusetts. I"ve only cruised in the summer when I can take the top off and just go down back roads attempting to get lost. I have never taken it off-road and have always stored it in my basement for the winter. I have done a few modifications to it over the years. HEI ignition, swing out spare tire bumper and added a jerry can mount for an additional 5 gallons of gas. changed out the front bumper and added a mount for the hi-lift jack, bought and installed Best top and doors, new stereo with iPod or iPhone connectivity, sound bar, side steps, and more. . . Here are a couple of small problems, as seen in the pictures,while in my garage on two different occasions has received the small dents on each front fender. One was due to a metal mower grass catcher fell and dinged the right front, and the left front was hit by a runaway hydraulic mower. I believe that the oil pan gasket drips from a couple of spots, and lastly it burns a little rich. So if you"re handy these shouldn"t be an issue. I recently did timing chain and gears with distributor gear, brakes and drums all around. This is loud and mean!
