Vehicle Details Up for bid is a 1976 Ford LTD Brougham with just about every option that was available that year except power seats and rear wheel well covers. Rare Red on Red on Red color combination. I am the second owner of the car, originally from Phoenix, AZ. Ordered by the original owner as a vacation car when visiting their home in AZ. So many where on the road back in the day, where did they all go? Last year for the fender top chrome trim (car was getting into Mercury territory). The Interior is immaculate with no cracks or tears anywhere in the upholstery, headliner, door panels or dash. The car sat for a few years so much was sorted out to make it road worthy.The list of new or repaired items is extensive:- New Master Brake Cylinder- New Power Steering Pump- New Accelerator pump- New heads with top engine rebuild- New Wheel Brake cylinders- Brake Drums machined- All vacuum hoses sorted- Vacuum headlight cover system rebuilt- New hoses- New Muffler and tailpipe- Rebuilt Carburetor- Recored Radiator- Several windows with new motors and/or glides- New tires and alignment- Passes California smog no problem- Numerous trim items replaced with NOS. The vehicle has a repaint on it in the original color that is showing wear and chips from use. It is a solid 10 footer. Originally ordered with the Tow Package, I had the tow hitch removed ( I did not plan on towing anything) but the electrical is still all there. There are only a few items still to be done:- Recharge air conditioning- Small rust spot (see pic) at base of drivers side rear wheel well. From road mud not being cleaned out- Door glass rubber should be replaced at some point.I would drive this car anywhere having taken it on road trips to San Diego, Santa Barbara and Palm Springs. Floats down the road just like a big American car should. Pictures are accurate representation of the condition of the vehicle. Happy to answer any questions truthfully and completely.
