About this vehicle This 1973 Ford LTD is an original with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is used as a daily driver. Seller"s Notes Included are the original sales paperwork from 1973 and the original owners manual Vehicle Details Extremely rare 1973 model year (only produced this body style one year due to the federal emissions laws starting to come into effect). This wagon is unbelievable, I’m actually getting tired of countless people approaching me asking about it and sharing their memories when they were kids lol. I added a new HEI distributor, cables and plugs and replaced and correctly got all the vacuum lines in the right place. New fuel pump, gas tank, in-line and regular fuel filter, EGR and brake booster valves, complete carborator servicing by my licensed mechanic, replaced power window motors in 3 windows so now they all function, oil change with new synthetic oil and other little performance fixes. I drive this wagon 45 miles one way to Los Angeles a few times a week and love it. The 4.0 6.6 liter 2 barrel carb V8 engine purrs like a cat. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country right now. It’s all original and I’m the second owner. First owners were a older married couple in Washington who bought it new and parked it in their barn everyday. I have all of there purchase paperwork from the Ford dealership they bought it from new. Aside from the new 134 refridgerent that needs to be added since the older type has been drained this wagon is ready to go and will literally flash you back in time. It floats when driving and can pour on the jets when needed due to the big strong V8. This model was not equipped with the 2 jump seats in the back but if you can find them they will fit right in to the trunk area.
