For Sale. 1976 Cosworth Vega #2927. Buckskin Tan with Tan Cloth Interior. Only 9 known to exist in this exterior color with the Cosworth motor. Only 1 of 2 known with the Tan Cloth interior. Car has been repainted poorly. Needs a new paintjob, lots of orange peel, rough finish. Correct color though. Mileage is original. Car is 100% complete. Runs, drives, stops. I have used it occasionally to get the bugs worked out of the EFI system, installed a new muffler. I orifinally bought this car with the intention to restore it completely due to its rare color combination, rarest color for a Cosworth Vega. Priorities changed and I need to move this car along. Very solid car, only rust in two areas, in the battery tray area, has been temporarily repaired. Along passenger cowl area, repaired when painted. I bought the car about 4 years ago. I am the fourth owner. I have some history of the car. Interior panels are good, just some fading, seats in good condition, no tears except along back seat top edge where the vinyl meets the carpeted back side. Carpet along drivers side footwell is ripped, carpet needs to be replaced. Fuel tank was cleaned, installed the Fiero intank high pressure pump. I had the sending unit professionally refurbished. Rims have been sandblasted and powdercoated, then clear coated. Car is extremely solid. Reserve is set at $2800.00
