Custom ~ Limited Edition This listing is for a 1976 Buick Electra 225 customized Limited Edition
My step-dad recently passed away and we are now faced with finding the new owner for his beautiful car, affectionately referred to as "Mabel". He bought her new in 1976 and at the time of purchase had the custom chrome grill installed, as well as the white leather top complete with chrome scrolls. I was the one who regularly washed and waxed her, and vacuumed her throughout. And whenever she was washed the sides of the doors, door jams, and sides of the hood and trunk inside lip was always cloth dried. In fact, Mabel has never seen an auto-wash machine, as she has always been hand washed and dried her entire life.
Mabel was bought in Warren Michigan and was always garaged until we moved to Arizona in 1982, and was always garaged her entire stay in Arizona as well.
Her engine is the original 455, and she is very strong! She has no hesitation when the pedal is pressed, and has always had premium unleaded fuel and Quaker State oil changes every 3,000 miles. Her odometer reads 43,660 miles, though I believe it is actually 143,660. She has always had wide white wall tires all of her life, and am certain they were recently replaced. As well, her AC was completely re-done, and her battery was recently replaced. Basically, whenever she needed something, she was taken care of immediately. Her custom paint is the original color and she shines like a new car!
Her interior was completely re-done, and she actually looks and feels more luxurious inside then she was the first day she was purchased. Her trunk panels were also re-done, and her trunk rubber mat is the original mat and still looks like new, as she has always had a mover"s blanket covering the mat her entire life.
