I bought the car in 2016. The following below are all the details from when I purchased it. The car was in overall good condition, but it was my intention to take the mechanical side to the next level. I have not got around to it and am reluctantly selling. Does run, really wants rewire and engine rebuild to a higher standard to take it to the next level it deserves to be. It is a one off amazing looking, head turning car. I bought from a guy that was local to me that I knew, who purchased it at auction from Gateway in Palm Desert CA and had it shipped to Florida where he had the engine and tranny rebuilt among other things. He had a big car collection and too much on his plate and needed to sell a few cars and I got it from him.

Bought this vehicle from Gateway Motor Cars in December of 2014. After purchased and shipped to Florida, the engine, an 8 cylinder 5.0L, was rebuilt. The 3 Three Speed Automatic Turbo 400 Transmission has been rebuilt. The A/C is new. New Alternator. New Carb. New with a flip out big touch screen with GPS and Satellite Radio 5. 0L - V8 Automatic Transmission, Overdrive Power Steering, Power Front Disc brakes. This 1983 Buick Electra Harley Davidson was customized for Willie G Davidson. This 1983 Buick Electra was made famous when it was used as part of the marketing and promotion for the Dark Custom lineup of bikes.The finale was when it was driven to the annual bike week event at Sturgis from Harley Davison’s Corporate Headquarters to Sturgis, hauling a few of the Dark Custom bikes.
While at Sturgis the company held a retirement party to celebrate and honor Willie’s career. The highlight of the famous send-off was the presentation of justice and judgement to Willie from the company as his retirement gift.
A great piece of history and is a one of a kind collectible that will be a hit at any Harley event! Great for Buick Electra/Vintage Car, and Harley Davidson Fans.
