Sold new at the Yenko dealership in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania for $5,900, the car is powered by an aluminum 2.0L DOHC inline-four paired to a 4-speed manual transmission. It has had four owners since, three of whom were dealers, and spent most of its life in Vermont before being titled in California by the seller following his recent acquisition. He has driven this example 150 miles since, noting that everything functions as designed. This Cosworth Vega is sold with service records and ownership documentation dating back to the 1975 purchase order, as well as a clean California title. Black lacquer with gold accents was the only color scheme offered on the Cosworth Vega for 1975. The paint is said to be original, and the factory pinstriping and decals remain.
