Vehicle description
1974 CJ5 Renegade with the factory V8, original paint, and only 19,005 original miles.
This is the real deal a true original survivor, not a restoration. One of only 300 in "renegade yellow", very rare jeep. Last year of the true Renegade V8.
This is a true survivor with incredible patina. She was purchased out of a doctor"s estate years ago in Northern Minnesota. You may ask what the pipe mounts on the side are for. . well they were for a canoe rack, all but essential for the cabin life in Northern Minnesota. Speaking of the cabin, this Jeep spent most of its life on weekend forest service roads to and from the best fishing spots, and never seeing a day of winter. She"s in incredible shape sporting all of its original equipment, even down to the AMC Renegade only slot mag wheels and dealer installed undercoating. Yes the rear seat is included, and yes it is pristine. The factory soft top and doors are also included. As expected with any survivor there are signs of its previous life here and there. Mostly limited to minor scratches and some surface rust, the pictures tell a great story. The frame and body are virtually rust free (no rot, just surface rust where the paint has parted). The Jeep runs and drives excellent, like it should for only 19,050 original miles!
