Vehicle description
1974 bmw 2002 in original beautiful amazon green. It comes with black carpet, black door panels and original blue rear seat. Front seats are racing style seats. The car has never been raced. Seats are simply for looks.
The car was repainted in March 2021 with all paint and body materials of high quality. All dents were removed. Any rust was minimal and was removed, treated and metal replaced. Wheel wells have been cut and flares added. The flares were painted black with high quality paint and clear coat. The lower rocker panels on both sides of the car were painted the same color as the flares. The front air dam is of fiberglass matetial and painted at the same time as the rest of the car. All glass rubber has been replaced and the front windshield was replaced with brand new glass. All glass has been tinted with high quality tint.
The wheels are 17x9 with 0 offset and original 4x100 lug spacing. They have minimal use and virtually no damage. The interior was half way restored. The carpet is original but was cleaned and dyed black. The door panels are original but were cleaned and dyed black. All metal on the interior was painted the same color as the outside with clear coat for added protection. All primary gauges function as intended.
The motor is the stock high revving 2.0 liter. The transmission is the stock 4 speed. Both run, drive and function without problems. The motor has had its carburetor replaced with a single webber 30/32.
Things needing attention- The suspension is a bit worn and could use some replacement. I have purchased 2 shocks and 4 springs for the vehicle but have yet to install them. The rear bumper is not installed. The trunk space is not painted and the trunk floor was replaced with flat metal, eliminating the spare tire cut out. The Wheel tire combination slightly rubs at hard turn angles. The hood needs to be adjusted to install the windshield wipers. The rear seats are unattached and require fastening. The door panels are missing a few clips and need accessories installed. (Window crank, arm rest). The dash is cracked in the usual places under windshield. The rear window tint needs to be replaced as it has overspray on it.
Extras included with purchase- I have the 2 original blue front seats I will provide. I also have 4-13x7 bbs wheels I will include with the purchase. The car is located in San jose, California. Local pick up is available. Transport is also available for an extra fee as I will trailer and transport it myself.
