1973 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible. Condition is Used. But is in excellent condition. What separates this 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7 vs. the other ones you’ll see here is that this vehicle: IS ALL ORIGINAL! From the external eggshell white paint, right into the internal space of this fine automobile. It boosts a Cleveland 351 V8 engine with a little over 21,000 original miles. It uses reg unleaded however, I’ve always put in 93 octane or “hi-test”. What makes this car so unique is that the original owner was a car collector (35 cars to be exact) I’m the second owner, and he kept this fine piece in a climate controlled garage,. .never really drove them he was a sort of baby Jay Leno. The gentleman passed and his children sold all the vehicles. This Cougar wound up at a classic dealership in St. Louis, MO., I saw it, (I’m a Cougar fanatic, having owned a few)bought it, and the rest is history. To tell you the respect this auto has commanded, every show That I’ve put this Cougar in she’s won 1st prize! I have the trophies to prove it.
