| “Body has rust throughout and some portions will need replaced. Frame has been repaired under the driver side. Engine, transmission and drive train are in good mechanical condition. There are a few minor leaks but not enough to cause concern for reliable operation. Electrical components under the instrument panel may need repaired or replaced. The dash or instrument panel has had aftermarket components removed. The Jeep has soft doors but no top. This vehicle has seen off-road use and was used as intended for a Jeep.” |

This Jeep is ready to be fully restored !
This is a rare vintage Super Jeep and there were only about 300 made in 1973. Comes with original, running, AMC 304 V8 engine, Dana 44 rear axle, Dana 30 front axle, (both geared at 3.73), Dana 20 transfer case and a solid Borg Warner T-15 3-speed manual transmission. 13 digit VIN
It has quite a few new parts: Radiator and both hoses, brakes shoes front and rear, brake master cylinder, slave cylinders and front brake lines, fuel tank, fuel sending unit, locking fuel cap, driver and passenger seats, seat belts (not original), steering gear, steering gear mount, alternator (not installed and using a working alternate), Warn manual locking hubs, front bearings, cups, tie-rod ends, ball joints and (5) New off-road tires. There are a few other parts that haven"t been installed.
This Jeep still needs work to be fully restored but is running and mechanically reliable in it"s current condition. It will need body work and possible frame restoration; it has seen off-road use! High lift jack not included but the hood mounts are included. I recommend hauling with a trailer due to not being street legal (does not have mirrors or wipers installed).
* I will also include digital versions of the original technical service manual for this Jeep, Engine and Axles to aid the future buyer with maintenance and restoration.
