Vehicle description
This 1972 Dodge Charger Special Edition has the following features:
- Rally Gauges - Automatic transmission with center column shift and bucket seats - Not number matching. Engine is a 360. - Front Sway Bar - Hotchkiss upper control arms - Replaced carburetor with Edelbrock 650 AVS - Edelbrock intake manifold - "Dukes of Hazzard" rims. Tires have less than 2000 miles - Painless wiring kit installed - Sound insulation includes closed cell foam over floor boards - After-market 15-inch front disc brakes - Air conditioning bracket installed. No compressor hooked up but compressor is included in sale. - High quality replacement dash pad - New battery - Mallor Unilite Distributor - Actual mileage is unknown but Ebay required a number
I believe the car was restored in 2006 or 2007. The prior owner purchased it at a Kruse International car auction in January 2008 and then sold it to me after experiencing financial issues. I do have the sale invoice from when he discovered it.
Starts easily and I"ve driven it periodically.
Trunk lid needs repainted and there are what I consider to be minor rust issues as documented in the photos.
A second set of gauges is available. They have not been altered but they are not Rally gauges.
Hidden headlight motor removed to be rebuilt.
