Vehicle description
Up for your consideration is my 1970 F100 short bed. It is a San Jose built California truck. No accidents and no rust all original sheet metal. Floor pans and cab corners in excellent original condition. This truck is a daily driver. The engine runs strong and has plenty of power with no major oil leaks. Engine temp stays at 170 in 110 degree heat ac on or off, slow traffic or no traffic, it just goes and goes. The exhaust sounds awesome. The overdrive transmission shifts firm and has no leaks, also the O/D can be turned off with the push of a button. It has an updated modern spade type fuse box, all lights and electrical work as they should. Windows roll up and down like new. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. It is very reliable and a pleasure to drive. Perfect for a short cruise or a cross country trip. The paint is in very good condition for being over 10 yrs old. It has its share of chips and minor dings given its daily use. Absolutely no rust or rot anywhere on the truck bumper to bumper, it is a very solid dry desert truck. I get compliments every day I drive this truck. Check out the videos too. If you have any questions I am available at 602-330-2610, I have many more pics to show via text or email.
If you want to buy a cheaper truck, there are plenty out there to choose from and mostly rust ridden. Ebay has plenty of those. It can cost way more than you think especially with structural rust repair done correctly and parts to do the job. This truck is in turn key condition ready to travel where you want to. What people have to figure out is are they willing to take on an old vehicle thinking they can do a restoration project. I promise you it will go way over your estimated budget not to mention the time to do so.
The starting price is a realistic and fair number to start with, so the first bid wins! This truck is by far a better investment on the get go,no rust, no accidents, all original sheet metal, very cool upgrades, Clean Arizona title in my name. It is currently registered and insured. Of course it"s all up to you. There are lots of vehicles that have been purchased with the intent to restore and or modify, but life gets in the way and they usually end up selling unrestored for a big loss, do your homework, just saying. Life is short, eat your desert first!
