Vehicle description
You"re looking at a fine example of an original, unrestored, Nebraska 1970 Ford survivor truck. It"s very clean for a 47+ year old truck. This truck has the original interior right down to the carpeting. The paint is factory, except for the front fenders; They look to have patch panels on lower portions. The bed has original paint in it well. It has a bed cover on it, snap style. I installed new American Racing Torque Thrust wheels 4 yrs ago along with BFG tires. I upgraded the 302 motor with a Weiand intake, summit 4bbl carb, chrome shorty headers, and new dual exhaust with thrush mufflers, so it sounds great. It has a 9" factory posi (rear end), and power steering and power brakes, which are all drums. I have replaced in the past four years the front coils springs, shocks, front ( KYB ) gas, rear ( Monroe) air shocks, door felts and window guides, starter, battery, heater core, belts, hoses and other maintenance items. The truck has Pertronics ignition instead of points and the transmission serviced at 39k. The factory gas tank is behind the seat; it"s clean with no rust of any sort in it. All gauges work, lights etc. It drives very nice. It looks great and I gets a lot of compliments every where I go with it. I receive many car show awards as well. The bullet holes in the doors are stickers covering up the camper style mirror holes it had when I bought it. I have installed smaller factory style mirrors. The truck has normal dings and patina as original trucks do of this age.
