Vehicle Details Selling my 1968 mercary cougar. It was a 302 car, now a 351 windsor was put in with the original trans that came with the 351. The guy was trying to get it on the track, but never finished it. He put a larger rear in the car. The car needs a lot of work. I do have a clear title in my name. Pros The engine and trans are expensive. These work great. The outer body is in good shape except for the new roof. Car starts right up and it's loud. New master cylinder. Needs to be bled. New gas tank and sending unit. Wipers, heater work. Cons Needs driver floor and trunk pan. Look at pictures. Some put in a pan on passenger side. Roof needs to be sanded and worked. Front window is cracked. The back seat is original put front seats are not and don't even fit. There just screwed in. Headlights work, but they don't pop up. Back lights don't work good.
