Vehicle description
Up for auction is a 1966 Dodge Charger. Originally I bought the car to restore. I bought many parts for it including a new 23 piece carpet set from Auto Custom Carpets and a new set of seat covers and front foam from Legendary Auto Interiors. I found most of the missing trim and interior parts and some of the weather stripping. I had a 360 engine rebuilt and ready to put in. The engine is currently not in the car. If you want to purchase the car without the engine, I would deduct $500.00 from the price.
I lack the time to finish it and I"ve decided to sell it on. Its a rare 3 speed manual transmission with a column shift. Only 700 were made this way in 66. Overall its a good solid car. The quarter panels are straight and rot free. I"ve posted close ups of the wheel wells to show condition. There is very minor rot in the passengers floor pan, which I have shown in one of the photos (23rd photo). The car still has its original paint. The glass is all intact and in good condition. This would be a great restoration project as no one has "worked" on the car before. The only issue with the body is that the right front fender had been hit at some point and the inner fender is bent and needs to be pulled. I have listed all the pictures that I felt were most important to the condition, but if there is something that you"d like to see more of, let me know as the car is sold as-is, no return. Please don"t ask to buy parts off the car.
Car must be picked up within 30 days.
Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping. US bidders only please.
