Vehicle description
I"d like this to go to a good home and I believe it"s worth more than I"m asking. Lack of garage space is forcing me to find her a new home. 1963 Buick Electra 225, unrestored. I don"t drive it in the rain and I baby it when it is driven. Always garaged. The mileage is estimated to be 104,000 but I think it"s lower. No modifications other than a mp3/phone unit that can be taken out of the trunk. No modification to the original Am radio that still works and is hooked up as well. All power options work including the antenna. Tires have about 1000 miles on them. The vinyl top is original. Clean inside and out. No accidents, no rust, no issues. Newer brake lines. The heater core has been bypassed until I can find a new one. All the glass is great, not even a rock chip in the windshield, all power windows work, power seat works. The leather inside feels like an office chair you would have in your home with a great patina. Paint is original but I"d give it a 8 out of 10. Just took second place in or car show in Duluth, Ga. I was told it was because they just don"t see them that often if ever. Original factory leather, not vinyl. Numbers matching engine and transmission. Transmission was rebuilt about a year ago and I have the receipt. Original 401 engine with 445 ft lbs of torque. I have the original owners manual stating the correct engine, body, and paint codes with the original owners name, a 1963 shop manual from GM, and 1 original key and one copy. The key operates in all the locks, ignition, trunk, glove box and middle console. Engine runs great and doesn"t tick or smoke and holds excellent oil pressure even on a hot day. It also has the original Harrison radiator. Front suspension has all new bushings. Has a brand new NOS muffler that was pretty hard to find and runs so quiet all you hear is the wind. Original headliner which is a silverish blue. I use this car for weddings and bridal photos. It"s not perfect, there a flaws here and there, but it is a show winner and people break their necks to look at it. I"d put it in a museum but it was made to be driven. Please send questions and I will answer them.
