Vehicle description
1960 Chrysler New Yorker 2 door hardtop. Very original unrestored western car with Its original 413 4bbl and drivetrain. Th e car runs and drives good. I drive it locally on roads below 40 MPH. It does not overheat or use coolant. The radiator is original with the part number stamped in the top tank. Oil pressure comes right up on startup. The transmission shifts and operates good forward and reverse. No noise from the rear axle. The boot on the ball and trunion is not torn. The brakes and brake booster work great, fluid flushed, the brake pedal is way up firm and high. The car has dual exhaust to the rear bumper, with some holes in the right tailpipe. The generator is working 14.43 volts, and the AMP gauge shows battery is charging while driving. Car has many power options, seat, door locks, windows, brakes, steering, antenna, search tune radio, mirror matic, tinted glass, clock, etc. i have the IBM card from Chrysler, VIN plate, body code plate, clean Washington state title. The power seat and the swivel seats are working. The cables are broken that make the seat automatically swivel when the door opens. The cables and parts are there so you could get new cables made from the originals. The doors open and close easily, the key does not work in the door locks. The key works in the trunk lock. The car has rust in the trunk floor, lower quarters and trunk extensions. The rest of the car is very solid. I have a 1960 New Yorker 4 door hardtop that can be purchased separately and it has a good trunk floor and decent quarters. You can buy a new trunk floor on eBay, type in "1960 Chrysler Dodge trunk pan new" and it will come up.
Buyer will arrange their own shipping I will meet with the shipping truck on this end to help load the car. Car is 57 years old it has flaws, ask any questions you have, I will be glad to explain in more detail. Vehicle sold as-is.
